Returns & Refunds Policy

1. General Policy

Bean Bags R Us Pty. Ltd. may, at its sole discretion, offer a refund for returned products within 30 days from the delivery date, provided that:

  • The product packaging is unopened; and
  • The product remains in its original, saleable condition.

All return postage and shipping costs are your responsibility.

No returns will be accepted after 30 days from delivery.

2. Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns or provide refunds if you:

  • Change your mind, or purchased a product as a gift that the recipient does not want;
  • Decide the product size is unsuitable (all dimensions are stated on the product page);
  • Purchase a bean bag cover believing filling is included (filling is sold separately and clearly stated on product pages);
  • Have products damaged due to lack of maintenance, abuse, abnormal service or handling, or any act/omission that would void warranty under clauses 6 or 7 of our Terms & Conditions;
  • Fail to read the relevant product information before purchase;
  • Order an incorrect quantity or the wrong product (unless the error was ours);
  • Open the packaging, use the product, or remove it from its packaging;
  • Remove warning labels, brand labels, or instructions; or
  • Break or damage the tamper-proof seal.

Misuse is also excluded, including using pockets as handles (especially on pool bean bags, which can weigh tens of kilograms when waterlogged).

Sale or discounted items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

Pre-order purchases are not refundable (these goods are manufactured and shipped by priority).

3. Fees for Approved Returns

  • Restocking fee: $10 per item (deducted from your refund);
  • Repacking fee: $20 per item if packaging has been opened;
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable; and
  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility (we do not pay for return shipping).

4. Returns Process

All returns must be authorised in advance.

  1. Mail your product at your expense using a trackable postal service; to: Bean Bags R Us - 593 Woodstock Ave, Glendenning NSW 2761
  2. Include a signed letter stating the reason for return; and
  3. Include the original receipt as proof of purchase.
